Designated Officer, Class-2

Education Qualification:

1. Bachelor degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Bio Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Science or Bio Chemistry or Microbiology as a principle subject OR Master degree in Chemistry or degree in Medicine of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 OR possess an equivalent qualification recognized or notified by the Government of India.
2.  (i) have at least five years experiences on the post not below the rank of Assistant Food Inspector in the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation;OR

• (ii) have at least five years experience performing the function of Food Safety Officer under the prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954 or Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011 in Health Administration of Local bodies on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Assistant Food Inspector in the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation

Zonal Officer, Class-2

Education Qualification:

1. Bachelor degree of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or  GPSC/R-7 Branch Page 20 of 36 declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956;
2. (i) have at least five years experiences on the post not below the rank of Office Superintendent in Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation; or

• (ii) have at least five years experience of Urban Planning or Administration in Government or Local bodies or Government Under taking Board or Corporation or limited company established under the companies Act 2013, on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Office Superintendent in the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation.

Public Relation Officer, Class-2

Education Qualification:

1. Master degree in Journalism and Mass Communication or post graduate diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication or bachelor degree in Journalism and Mass Communication or bachelor degree in Journalism obtained from any of the Universities or Institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956;
2. Have at least two years experience of administration and/or Journalism in Government or local bodies or Government under taking board or corporation or university or limited company established under the companies Act, 2013 or in the publication house of daily or weekly or fort nightly or monthly publications

Legal Officer, Class-2

Education Qualification:

1.  A degree in Law (special) or degree in Law (integrated) (five years course after Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination) of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956;
2.  (i) enrolled the bar council as an advocate and practicing in the High Court or District Court or City Court at Ahmadabad or family Court or Small Cause Court or Industrial Court of at least four years, or

• (ii) have atleast four years experience of legal matters in Government, or staff working of the establishment of High Court or any court subordinate thereto or staff of office of the Government pleader of the High Court or City Civil Court or District Court, or
• (iii) have atleast four years experience of legal matters in local body or limited company established under the companies Act, 2013, 

Age Limit: 18-42 Years

Pay Scale: Rs.44,900-1,42,400/- 

Health Officer, Class-2

Education Qualification:

• A degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) of any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess any other qualification specified in first or second schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act,1956
